Message | It may not seem the most urging issue to you, but we think it's justified to strive towards more unifomity in this matter. It's rather ridiculous if one province decides to have their mayors appointed by the central government, another province lets the citizens elect their mayor directly, a third one says it basically doesn't need a mayor, and yet another thinks the municipal council should elect a mayor.. where does it all end? We want a clear answer from the Grand Tribal Council.. anything is better than the current "we don't care, you solve it" approach. |

Message | The way a mayor is elected in one region doesn't affect in the least anything outside of that region. The scope of a mayors powers is entirely local. If a tribe doesn't want mayors, why should we force them to? If a tribe wants its mayors appointed, why should we force them to have a popular vote? There is no one right method, and we should not require all tribes to follow a particularly arbitrary method "just cos". |

Random fact: The people in your nation don't like inactive parties. When you often abstain from voting for a bill, they will dislike your party and your visibility to the electorate will decrease significantly. Low visibility will means you are likely to lose seats. So keep in mind: voting Yes or No is always better than Abstaining. |
