MessageNo, it's racism. Let me give a hypothetical. Let's say on Terra there are several races. Let's say that Garudos is mainly inhabited by a different race than Mordusia, and that we have had problems with terrorists from Garudos in the past. You'd like to force a statement of race so that you can identify those from Garudos and track them. The problem is that nationals of many other countries are of the same race as the Garudosians, and nationals of those nations have never given Mordusia a problem. You're forcing them to register and come under automatic suspicion as well, despite having no reason other than their race for that suspicion. That's racism, making this not only a violation of civil liberties but also a racist violation of civil liberties.

Random fact: In cases where players introduce RP laws to a nation and then leave, Moderation reserves the discretion to declare the RP laws void if they appear to have fallen into disuse. In particular, please bear in mind that a player who is inexperienced with Particracy role-play and has joined a nation as the only party there should not generally be expected to abide by RP laws implemented by previous players who have been and left.
