From | Centre Démocratique | To | Debating the The national refugee policy so | Message | The term "refugee" has nothing to do with rapists, pedophiles, or murderers. Refugees are human beings fleeing war zones, famines, natural disasters, and other horrible situations.
CUF: we need not demonize these people, but rather offer them a hand up. |

From | Drtárék Jelbék Prta | To | Debating the The national refugee policy so | Message | This is farcical. Perhaps help the needy. But to allow anyone who claims to be a 'refugee' to enter is obviously open to abuse, and then to give these people money, on the grounds that they call themselves 'refugees' is even more open to abuse. What to prevent a Jelbanian losing his identity papers, and then claiming to be Abdullah from Cobura who has been persecuted because he is gay and needs some cash. At least propose a policy with a system of checks in place. |

From | Revolutionary Constit'nal United Front | To | Debating the The national refugee policy so | Message | The term "refugee" can include such undesirables if we don't screen them. So let's say a nation decides to ship out all rapists, murderers and pedophiles. We welcome ALL refugees. So we would have to accept them. And we wouldn't even know they are criminals! Not all refugees are criminals, but if we don't screen them for criminals there will be plenty of them in the mix. |

From | Revolutionary Constit'nal United Front | To | Debating the The national refugee policy so | Message | You just said Jelbania is a fitting place for criminals. It is a pity that you socialists seem to hate our country so much. You are fortunate that Jelbania prides itself on its freedom of speech, otherwise your treasonous words may have had grave consequences. |

Random fact: Once approved, players should copy Cultural Protocols into a bill in the debate section of their nation page, under the title of "OOC: Cultural Protocols". This bill should include links to the passed Cultural Protocol bill and the Moderation approval. |
