MessageNo worker who is a member of a trade union should be forced to strike if they don't want to. A forced strike by union bosses will throw Davostan into chaos.

OOC: Read up on the British Winter of Discontent and you will understand, the situation there at the time was chaotic. There were no laws regulating strike ballots and union bosses forced members to go on strike very commonly throwing the country into chaos and halting the British economy at the time. We agree with the Bolsheviks and Communists everyone should have the right to strike however no one should be forced to strike by their union leader if they don't agree to it.

MessageIf they don't care enough to vote, why should their opinion be counted? Those that do care will put in the effort to show up for the strike ballot. You're pandering to apathy here.

MessageNo if they are a member of the trade union and the bosses just decide to strike then they are forced to stop their pay and go on march, that's not fair to those people, if they don't want to be involved with that then they can retire their membership or the leadership of the union can terminate their membership.

MessageBut unions already have to vote, the union leaders don't have any authoritarian say.

Random fact: In Culturally Protected nations, special care must be taken to ensure realism is maintained when role-playing a government controlled by an ethnic and/or religious minority. If it is to be supposed that this government is supported by a majority of the population, then this should be plausibly and sufficiently role-played. The burden of proof is on the player or players role-playing such a regime to demonstrate that it is being done realistically
