Debate
These messages have been posted to debate on this bill:

Message | We strongly and firmly believe that religion is a matter left up to religous groups and indivdual communities. Why the state should have a say in these appointments doesn't seem logical to us. More power to the people in an issue such as religion which our country has strong views upon is vital, its a shame another party hasn't already brought the bill to our attention before. Pauline Richardson, Shadow Labour Education and Culture Minister |
Date | 19:36:02, October 26, 2007 CET | From | Coalition for National Unity [CNU] | To | Debating the Religous Ministery |
Message | The State nominates these ministers, senator, in order to prevent extremists and terrorists from gaining political power through religion. If we let anybody become a cardinal Ms.Richardson, then we will be overflowing with more "Olive-shirted" nuns. Amanda Beauchamp, Prime Minister. |
Date | 23:36:53, October 26, 2007 CET | From | Meritocratic Alliance | To | Debating the Religous Ministery |
Message | Regardless of impunities of Mother Wessex, we still vote against this bill. |

Random fact: Did you know you can change the official name of your nation? All you need to do is draw up a new name that is in accordance with the Nation Renaming Guide, pass a bill proposing the name change with a two-thirds majority and then post a request to Moderation on the "Renaming Requests" thread. You can change city and region names in this way too. |
