Message | The small bit of reliable information received through torture makes the process worthwhile. If only 10% of the information is legitimate, and we can use that to save people, shouldn't we? I say that person's agony is indeed worth another person's life. |

Message | We see this point; but may we remind you it is almost impossible just to get 10 percent legitimate information. In fact, studies show it's nearly impossible just to get 1 percent; that is why most civilized countries ban it; people will say or do anything to make the pain stop, and will give out false information if necessary. In fact, if someone is loyal to something, that person will only give out false information. We would then use this false information as if it were truth, and waste our money, resources, and lives, and find out that believing the person did more harm than good. Therefore, torture accomplishes nothing but things even worse. Now torture lite (so-called torture that does not leave long-term physical results) is a totally different story, but that would not be banned with this bill. |

Random quote: As for rape, of course, that is a direct consequence of the capitalist system of oppression. Capitalism relies on fuelling division and resentment to sustain itself, and so it sets men against women, race against race and so on. Men rape women because they are being oppressed by capitalism, so they take it out on women. Under Communism, there will be no rape, because there will be a full and natural harmony and equality between the genders. ~ Friedrich Pfeiffer General Secretary of the Dorvish Communist Party |
