| The recent conflicts concerning religion have caused the Union Pour Un Movement Populaire rethink our philosophy. We cannot ban religion, it is an integral freedom that our peoples should not be denied. However, the other restrictions against religion should be maintained. We also feel that is necessary to tax religions, so that the government can maintain that they do as they are supposed to. |

Old value:: Recognized religions are not taxed.
Current: All religious income, despite the use, is taxed.
Proposed: Religions are treated as companies, and all profit is taxed, however, charitable donations are not taxed.

Old value:: Any form of religion is banned.
Current: Any form of religion is banned.
Proposed: There is no official state religion, but the government only allows recognized religions. 'Cults' are persecuted.
