Details

Submitted by[?]: Meritocratic Alliance

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: September 2479

Description[?]:

We call that the administartion expel George Falco from the New Jakinia Republican Party from our borders. He has deliberately tried to interfere in our national policies, violating the sacred sancity of our Senate and causing the righteous indignation of our citizens. Are we a doormat for the rest of the world? The people have spoken with their fists and we should listen well.

Frankly, we need to send a statement to any representative of Jakinia that it may not be safe for them to return to our country in official capacity for some time until they apoligize.

Re: Official Message from Dr. George Falco, Foreign Minister

I want your party, due to your support of me in this issue, send this message to the Bill in vote to expulsion of me, word for word for the SNRP to hear.

Due to the recent hostilities by the SNRP by my speech in defense of the MCTO, I known for many years that Solentia and United Jakinia have been allies defensively, economically, culturally. Before my appointment to my current post, I frequently visited Solentia for its charm, hospitality, and wonderful landscape. I like the varied cultures that are unique in each country.

Treaties and Organizations like the MCTO, exist for collective security of many nations that is waiting to respond, not individual nations waiting until something happens and then wanting help. The MCTO DOES NOT wish to interfere in your countries internal affairs, for that is none of our business. It does not want to regulate or force your military to attack or not. It does say that non-aggression between members is a must. It impacts your foreign policy a little bit, but not much. It is a voluntary action organization.

For example, United Jakinia is about to send peacekeeping troops to Beitenyu and Pontesi to stop the conflict there and mediate a peace there. Our legislation is outside of the MCTO due to the fact no one in the MCTO has expressed interest in joining our force.

I worked hard to get where I am today. I take you and some of the other parties comments about calling me 'bourgeois' is offensive. I do not wish for your apology but I tell you of the nature of consequences for your actions.

You have directly threaten me and the safety of your country. I shall not apologize to you for I was not speaking out of line and defending our treaty. I respect Solentia.

For MCTO article reference for the statements below: http://80.237.164.51/particracy/main/viewtreaty.php?treatyid=824

Although we are still members of the old MCTO, the wording in the new one made it automatically void when we ratified it, which is found under article 2, section d. Although Article 11 doesn't define an armed attack as attacking a foreign ambassador, the government of United Jakinia does.

In this specific case, the SNRP has attacked a Jakinian diplomat. A few courses of action could happen...
1) The government of United Jakinia declares that the SNRP is a terrorist party and declares war against them coupled with permission of the government of Solentia to have permission to attack.
2) Declaration of war against Solentia with limited war focus
3) Declaration of war against Solentia with total war, use of nuclear weapons, and other WMD's to be used.
4) Covert operations to assassinate/kidnap some select members of the SNRP
5) Economic sanctions, depends on the legislature to depend on how harsh it is, could use the military to blockade Solentian trade.
6) The SNRP takes immediate steps to control themselves when foreign diplomats come, and not attack them. You are still entitled to your position of isolation, and we respect that but not the physical attacking.

Mind you, the first three options are our last resorts. If it comes down those options, your nation would never have ever wished for it. We control a huge military, which is used in defense against war-mongering Deltaria.

MessageWe remind Mr Falco that it will be the working men of Jakania and Solentia who will be forced to lay down their lives to solve this bourgois Imperialist conflict. You remind me of the arisocrats of old, duelling to save your face and honour. Consider the threat of a conflict very carefully - how much death will the proletariat take before turning their weapons on the capitalists who sent them to die to protect their 'honour'?

MessageMr. Falco, would in the event of war, resign in the event of war between Jakania and Solentia and join the army. Mr. Falco has nothing against the nation of Solentia and the SNRP. However, when he spoke in a polite way to the assembly to Solentian legislative body, he was attacked. That is not to save face and honor, there was no reason to attack Mr. Falco.

It is a shame how some of you treat foreign diplomats. The government of United Jakania came to state its opinion when a Solentian party was stating its opinion through a suggested withdrawal. Does the SNRP and CPS have no respect of anyone's opinion besides there own?

We do not hold sway to how Solentia votes, the MCTO has alway been held sway to the legislatures of the member nations, even our own. When Mr. Falco spoke, it wasn't about him, it was about garishing support for the MCTO. If you cannot see the difference between a forced community union like the EU or a collective security treaty like the MCTO, which is based like RL NATO, then you have lack of sight.

The Foreign Ministry of United Jakania stands by Option 6) "The SNRP takes immediate steps to control themselves when foreign diplomats come, and not attack them. You are still entitled to your position of isolation, and we respect that but not the physical attacking." We will not be swayed from that option unless violence is started by Solentia. In fact, it is the from the order of Mr. Falco himself to stay at option 6.

MessageThe "Communist" Party of Solentia takes a social-patriot approach to this issue.

They don't trust the Jakania bourgeoisie, which is well and fine. But the conclusion they take of this is to support the most aggressive and reactionary wing of the Solentian bourgeoisie, represented by the Radical Nationalists.

It is silly to threat Jakania with the proletariat there turning its weapons against its generals - while our internationalist duty is to turn our weapons against our own generals.

MessageRadNat Leadership has advised it's party members not to enter the senate chamber. This is not an apology, but the matter has been handled, and SRNP leadership had nothing to do with it in the first place.

We suggest Janakians continue to avoid putting their nose in our own political matters, and we encourage other political parties to take follow the example of the Communists in this matter and stand up for Solentian sovreignty.

As I stand here, I think we should appreciate the real danger of the Jakin populace freeloading off of us. Immigrants, same old story. We do nothing. I have a list here in my hand, of hundreds of Jakinis living and working in our Motherland today, living quite well in fact, taking jobs that belong to our own people. I will of course be providing a list of these people and their addresses at public locations across the nation and people can do with it what they will. I wash my hands of that.

But the thing is this, and if the Senators gathered here do not understand it, than the out of work, the poor, the angry, they will get it; you've allowed ourselves to get in a treaty organization that COULD potentially protect Jews in Beiteynu. Jews! If anything we should help our beleagured brethren in Pontesi. But already I can see that the majority of you will kow tow to foreign potentates.

I can only voice my concern. I can do no other. We, the SRNP do not advocate illegal violence. Some who wear the olive band get passionate, and frankly I can understand why. I admonish them, and those involved in this incident had their membership removed and they are, of course, in the hands of our justice system. The incident was regretable, but it's time to move on.

God Bless.
