Bill: Sports Clubs
Details
Submitted by[?]: bran1322 Party
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: April 2480
Description[?]:
Funding of national clubs for Olympics or the World Cup would be a good idea. It promotes sports and national pride. This could lead to children and adults playing more sports and being more active and healthy. I believe a healthy nation would save health care costs and increase productivity moreso than the cost to the government for jerseys and travel. Besides a good sports team can be a plus for the economy through more purchases and thus increased sales tax revenue. |

Message | No... the national team is part of the national sport association, which wasn't part of the state or goverment, because it is formed by all the private sports clubs. |

Message | Even if so, still many good reasons to fund sports. |

Message | Actually this article proposes a Communist system that was used in the Eastern European countries and the USSR during the Cold War . Crvena Zvezda Belgrade , CSKA Moscow , CSKA Sofia , Dunamo Moscow , Dunamo Kiev are all teams that were founded by the state or the army ... That's why those teams were (and still) are dominant in their leagues . Imagine the state promoting by any means a team , so this team will advertise the State's superiority ... Propaganda tool ... |

Random fact: In Culturally Protected nations, special care must be taken to ensure realism is maintained when role-playing a government controlled by an ethnic and/or religious minority. If it is to be supposed that this government is supported by a majority of the population, then this should be plausibly and sufficiently role-played. The burden of proof is on the player or players role-playing such a regime to demonstrate that it is being done realistically |
