| In order to increase efficiency, and relieve an unnecessary burden on the government, we propose that the the nation's energy generation facilities and power distribution network be privatized. |

| Message | Whether you tax the people and give them "free" electricity or allow private companies to charge people for electricity, the people are ultimately still paying for power! Why not allow competition and allow a chance for lower energy prices to emerge? By removing the burden of maintenance and distribution off the shoulders of the government you allow for a chance for reduced taxes. By allowing competition, you force prices to remain low, which could possibly provide energy to the people at a cheaper price from private companies than the government can with a state owned monopoly |

| Message | Corporations by there very nature are untrustworthy, and will only seek to make the maximum profit while providing as little as possible. The government actively searches and develops better technology to provide the maximum amount of energy for the lowest price possible. |
