| WHEREAS space exploration is as of yet non-fully tapped Pontesi resources. WHEREAS space exploration is one of the major advances in science and technology within the past two decades. WHEREAS Pontesi citizens stand to gain enormously through a more proactive, fully government sponsored space program. Therefore, BE IT RESOLVED that the members of the August Parliament of the Cedar Throne hereby pledge to make appropriate funds available to Nicolas Copernicus, Chancellor of Science and Technology, an amount to be determined by a committee of party delegates headed by the Chancellor of Finance. in order that these funds be used to develop a government space exploration program. BE IT ALSO RESOLVED that this space exploration program shall be called the PONTESI NATIONAL SPACE PROGRAM and shall be headed by co-Lead Astrometric Scientists to be appointed by the Challencor of Science and Technology.
