Bill: Region Name Act of 2482

Details

Submitted by[?]: 帝国公明党 (Teikoku Kōmeitō)

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill asks for an amendement to the Constitution. It will require two-thirds of the legislature to vote in favor. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: August 2483

Description[?]:

It has been one of the long term goals of the DSP to create a new term for the regions that make up Sekowo, currently referred to as 'Exarchy's.

However because the two parties that have been against changing it have been in power so long, we've not been able to.

However now that things have changed we feel it's time to bring up the matter again.

MessageWe/I suggested state since we're composed of more than just the five regions on the map, and are a Federation.

Of course we're willing to consider other options as well.

MessageFederal District sounds interesting.

I don't like Emirate though, I know enough about the only country that uses that term to not like it, more as a reflection of the country itself.

Random fact: Moderation will not accept Cultural Protocol updates which introduce, on a significant scale, cultures which are likely to be insufficiently accessible to players. In particular, for all significant cultures in Particracy, it should be easy for players to access and use online resources to assist with language translation and the generation of character names. Moderation reserves the right to amend Cultural Protocols which are deemed to have introduced significant cultures that are not sufficiently accessible and which are not being actively role-played with.
