MessageThe right to life is the supreme human right, and we should not violate it lightly. In applying the death penalty, there is always a chance that we have convicted an innocent person. This would be a terrible injustice.

MessageTerrorism, crimes against humanity, and treason. Those are the only exceptions to for the death penalty. All other crimes will not get the death penalty. We are not talking about Murder in the first degree here.

MessageIs it not better than the person be made to pay for their crime through hard labour? Putting them to death can only strengthen the cause of terrorists. Crimes against humanity usually comprises mass murder: is it right for us to say "you may not kill" while putting them to death? Those who commit treason may be more use alive.
