| WHEREAS, the current law states, "There are no regulations on the sale of tobacco." WHEREAS, the law leaves the underaged to be free from purchasing tobacco products, which endanger their lives. WHEREAS, the government understands that tobacco is the only source of income for many people WHEREAS, the government must also take into consideration the health of the people, particularly the underaged, the sick, and the old. THUS, the following proposal has been made: Old Legislation: There are no regulations on the sale of tobacco. Current Legislation: There are no regulations on the sale of tobacco. Proposed Legislation: There are certain restrictions on the sale of tobacco and only adults may purchase tobacco. |
