| Recent messages by the 'Fatlange' party of Kundrati to the government of the Holy Empire have deeply insulted the people of Luthori and are in breach of international law. The spreading of Kundrati atheist propaganda has reached not only Luthori, but also worldwide. Reports have come in from other nations in Artania, Dovani, Keris, Seleya and Majatra, that messages full of Kundrati atheist propaganda has spread to their nations. We shall not tolerate these insults by Kundrati to Luthori, and as a major Artanian power, we believe that we should take action, so as to stop these insults once and for all. We convene the Imperial Diet to decide this action. This declaration of war needs at least half of the legislature to vote yes, and the approval of the Holy Emperor (via his two representatives), the Foreign Secretary and the Defence Secretary. If the declaration of war is approved, a national mobilisation will occur, and Operation SPAM FILTER - an air force and naval bombardment of Isle of Jildrath, to soften it up for an amphibious invasion, in order for our forces to use the island (codenamed 'Airstrip One') as a forward operating base for operations against mainland Kundrati - will be launched immediately. |
