Bill: Cabinet Proposal of April 2483

Details

Submitted by[?]: Liberty Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill presents the formation of a cabinet. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. Traditionally, parties in the proposal vote yes, others (the opposition) vote no. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in and all parties in the proposal have voted yes, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.

Voting deadline: May 2484

Description[?]:

"It's nice to see a fresh Directory. I've being in Zardugali politics for a long time, my friends, and I can't recall a time when the voters have had such a choice of great party's to chose from.

Politics aside, I'd like to welcome everyone to the hallowed halls of the Directory House. You all have strong, well informed views and will fight for your principles as you promised to when Zardugal sent you here.

However, this fine assortment of men and women needs leadership. I believe this bill will allow for a united, efficient government. Zardugal deserves nothing less."

~Derror Crius, Protector-General of Zardugal

Random fact: Particracy does not allow real-life fictional references (eg. Gandalf, Harry Potter, Luke Skywalker).

Random quote: "The two greatest obstacles to democracy in the United States are, first, the widespread delusion among the poor that we have a democracy, and second, the chronic terror among the rich, lest we get it." - Edward Dowling
