Message | I understand the need to spend a little on Trade and Industry, but that we spend more on this than education, just makes no sense to me, but I will not have this government's budget spiral out of control. And please tell me what you want, otherwise I can keep guessing. Not that I'll give it to you, but I would at least have an idea. Benoit Potour - Minister of Finance |

Message | I can't see any problems with this. I think that Science and Technology is important, but the budget still allows plenty of financing. |

Message | DPP agrees with the Old Guard Party on the issue of trade and industry vs. education. Education ought to receive more funding, for an educated populace will help to solve the problems that all other categories of spending are directed towards. DPP also favors less spending on agricultural subsidies, and less on "internal affairs." What is that, the Stasi? |

Random fact: By default the head of government is the ultimate authority within a national government. In general terms, heads of government are expected to consult with cabinet colleagues (including those from other parties) before making significant decisions but they remain responsible for government action. |
