Message | With regards to the title of the Head of State, we prefer Prime Minister, but this is simply a personal preference and if everyone else prefers President then we are happy to go with that. |

Message | I support this, provided the prime minister is not also the head of government. What distribution of power there is must be preserved. (OOC that was roleplaying, the effective part is "I support you") |
Date | not recorded | From | United Liberal Alliance | To | Debating the Government of Telamon (Titles) Act |
Message | No, distribution of power will be preserved and the Prime Minister does not always have to be the Head of Government. Though they can be - as in our proposed Cabinet! |

Message | Changing "count" to "province"? It is a quite expensive changing, i think. Print a new tonnes of paper, only to satisfy your egocentrism... |
Date | not recorded | From | United Liberal Alliance | To | Debating the Government of Telamon (Titles) Act |
Message | Yes, but what is a 'Count' the English understanding of 'Count' is a title given to a noble, not a region and therefore it doesn't make any sense. If you meant 'county' then you got it wrong, but the problem with that is that the system doesn't do plurals properly, so 'county' becomes 'countys' instead of 'counties.' Therefore 'province' is better because it works! |

Message | + the only reason the names were changed in the first place were to satisfy your egocentrism as you had a majority that enabled you to do so!! |

Message | no i like Prime Minister, but why not make counts States insted of Regions |

Message | and what about making congress of progress the House of Representitives |
Date | not recorded | From | United Liberal Alliance | To | Debating the Government of Telamon (Titles) Act |
Message | States is another possibility to Provinces, the reason we chose provinces, is that if you look at the constitution we are designated as a unitary state with central government authority rather than a federal system. Therefore provinces seems more appropriate (we also like provinces better than states!!) Having said this, a definition of a Commonwealth is an association of states, so either is acceptable to us, whatever the majority prefers. With regards to House of Representatives we prefer Parliament (with absolute utmost respect to yourself and all Australians, House of Representatives is too American for are liking!!) |
Date | not recorded | From | United Liberal Alliance | To | Debating the Government of Telamon (Titles) Act |
Message | But if everyone would rather have House of Representatives or something, then we will consider it but as I said we prefer Parliament (though we would consider more favourably than House of Representatives, National Assembly, if people prefer this?) |
