What are you talking about, DWP??? This bill does NOT abolish libraries but only suspends the MANAGEMENT of them to local and regional governments. I mean, the National Government is far too BUSY to have to deal with managing libraries. That is best left to the PEOPLE!!!

there was a TYPO in the word "people" at the end; it should have been "LOCAL Government"

MessageThe problem with devolution of libraries... is that some local councils may not consider them worthwhile - or may have different ideas about what a library should do. The ability of The People to educate themselves, should never be hostage to regional capriciousness.

Random fact: "Treaty-locking", or ratifiying treaties that completely or nearly completely forbid any proposals to change laws, is not allowed. Amongst other possible sanctions, Moderation reserves the discretion to delete treaties and/or subject parties to a seat reset if this is necessary in order to reverse a treaty-lock situation.
