Message | All proposals in this bill are open to compromise. At least we can discuss it. |

Message | Torture obviously is bad, both because suspects will be pressured to give false information and because it can be used to harass citizens without a proper reason. |

Message | Education and work in prisons are there to keep inmates employed. If they are idle during their prison time they will only teach each other to be worse criminals. Also the work can help pay for their prison term. Obviously both education and work will be well chosen by prison staff so as to help the former criminals live as honest citizens after realease, but also so that it does not make those who will not repent more dangerous or give them a chance to escape. |

Message | Thia is fine except for the fact that I didn't realise that you had included measures on prisons, when I introduced my Prisons Reform Act just now. Could you possibly remove these proposals from your act and add some others instead, to save be withdrawing my bill or...? |

Message | Don't mind if you want me to withdraw mine (up to you!!) |

Message | I'll look at that soon |

Message | The proposals on prison conditions have been revoked. Instead I encourage you to vote for the eminent "Prison Reforms Act" of our brothers in the United Commonwelth Alliance. |

Message | Also the death penalty is made legal for the worst kind of usurpers. Using a position with resposibilty in the military other powerful organizations to murder or hurt one's fellow humans is not acceptable. Such persons have no place in our society, not even in prisons. |

Message | Thanks for your support of the Prisons Reform Act, whilst we really don't like the use of the death penalty at all, we can see a powerful case for its use in extreme cases such as major terrorist attacks and therefore we support you. |

Message | listen, i am for the Death Penalty but we do need torture to abtain info from terrorists that could save lives, so u see, u cant be against torture saying it's crule and then want the Death Penalty, i say u change ur torture proposal |
Date | not recorded | From | To | Debating the Fair Justice Bill |
Message | I will not change it. Would not even if I could during the vote. Torture is used on potentially innocent people, and it is a very strong means of coersion. You can not be for liberty and for torture. Capital punishment on the other hand will only be applied to to those who kill and hurt many other people very badly. It is needed to protect people who don't have an army or a truckload of C4. |
