Bill: Head of Government Title Act 2486

Details

Submitted by[?]: Imperial Pluralism Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill asks for an amendement to the Constitution. It will require two-thirds of the legislature to vote in favor. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: December 2486

Description[?]:

The issue of the synonymous HoS and HoG is still an issue. We propose that this nation keep with its Hellenic heritage and traditional culture and keep all government titles classical.

The title "Prytanis" (pl. Prytaneis) was given to an executive of the governing body of Athens. This office of the Prytany represents a remarkably egalitarian system; in Athens, most citizens would serve as a Prytanis at one point or another. Hopefully this name can serve as a reminder of our dedication to our own egalitarian democracy.

MessageThis nation is based on more than just the Hellenic cultures of the coastal city-states of old.

The Head of State already has a Hellenic position, the Head of Government should have a name from a different culture.
