Message | Timothy Carpenter, Candidate for Minister of Defence: "Women are inferior to men pyshically, they will also cause a distraction. We need our soldiers to be focused and strong." The Candidate for Prime Minister, Thomas Arthur apolagised for the sexist comment and said: "In times of war we can never know who our enemy will be. If they do not take the same stance of POWs as us... Then women could become vistims of rape. This bill would be for their own protection. We also believe that if the nation is in severe danger then conscription may be neccassary." |

Message | The OGP supports none of these ventures. First, why should the state control industries who make weapons or what ever - such enterprises are better left to the private sector, as state run coorporations are often less effective. Second, we believe is war is declared it would be too late to teach our poeple to fight and send them to war, furthermore we do not wish to send pacifists and other reluctants into war. Third, we will not compromise women's rights - if they want to fight for their country in the field, so be it. Sen. Castanier de Villement |
