Message | Neither will we. It's ludicrous to associate identity cards with totalitarianism. |

Message | Identity cards do not harm the rights of citizens. Rather, they are a useful tool and a common form of ID that all residents should carry at necessary times. When registering to vote, or to receive government services, or apply for a passport or drivers license, all citizens will have a standardized form of ID which will be recongnized by various government offices. It can also be used for ID in private businesses or daily routines, such as opening bank accounts, picking up registered mail at the post office, proving identity when registering for university courses, etc. Just possessing an ID card does not mean that "Big Brother" is watching everyone. It does make identifying citizens for a number of reasons easier. |

Random fact: The people in your nation don't like inactive parties. When you often abstain from voting for a bill, they will dislike your party and your visibility to the electorate will decrease significantly. Low visibility will means you are likely to lose seats. So keep in mind: voting Yes or No is always better than Abstaining. |
