Bill: Police and Military Cooperation Act

Details

Submitted by[?]: Conservative Coalition of Egelion

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: May 2102

Description[?]:

We agree that the police and military should be separated, but there are some times where events are too much for the police to handle themselves, whether because of lack of manpower or equipment. This bill only calls on the military IF the police needs it or in cases of serious emergencies (natural disasters, terrorist attacks, etc).

MessageLike the UEP, we're also uncomfortable with this idea, but we realize that in extreme cases it is necessary for a national guard and ask that this is only used in extreme cases.
