Message | This is a sensible policy, true, but it should be an option for local government to choose, not a national mandate. |

Message | Once again, to move this question to the local governments (and out of the game) is not an an solution at all. Its just a way to say that one dont care about the issue at all. |

Message | No it says we care about the voters with respect to their own situation. A government can't possibly understand the situation of our entire constituency at the same time, so rather then passing blanket laws that can hurt some Ikradonians, on matters like these it is better to let local governments decide what is best for their jurisdiction. |

Message | Absurd. What exactly what dose this questin a local one? Sounds more like a desperate way to avoid to vote for a perfect bill just because its comes from the IND. So sad... |

Message | I really can't comprehend what your first sentence there means, IND. But, Allowing local government to decide this gives the opportunity for entrepreneurship (something that the Yellow Party is almost always in favor of) into the waste disposal business (residential and commercial), therein creating new jobs. But, maybe if a city decides that those companies aren't particularly doing a good job disposing of the waste, or even there aren't enough local companies to take care of it all, they can step in as a government to regulate commercial/residential waste disposal as well as create a waste disposal service themselves. A perfect bill? Giving this bill quite a bit too much praise. |

Message | It seems that the sides over this are black and white, either the local government does it or the government does, why not propose a compromise, the disposal of waste is left up to the decision of the local government, but let the government oversee the operations to ensure that it is being disposed of properly and the ability of the government to petition the local government to dispose of it properly if decided it was it wasn't being taken care of, thus a system of checks and balance. |

Random fact: Players have a responsibility to differentiate between OOC (out-of-character) and IC (in-character) behaviour, and to make clear when they are communicating in OOC or IC terms. Since Particracy is a role-playing game, IC excesses are generally fine, but OOC attacks are not. However, players must not presume this convention permits them to harass a player with IC remarks that have a clear OOC context. |
