- And this bill does none of those things.
Article 1: You expect the government to fund and subsidise a private company? Non-profit or not you expect the government to provide money to radio stations without any say in what is being produced? This is a ridiculous notion.
Whilst the current HBC is independent of government in its operations and programming, it is required to provide educational and informational programmes as part of its remit. If it does not, then it loses its subsidy from the government. This bill does no such thing for the private radio stations that will take control of HBC transmitters and stations. Moreover, it's lucky that you require them to be non-profit making as the whole "cooperative" idea will increase costs exponentially without improvements to service or quality. We can actually see the quality of programmes falling because these stations are guaranteed government funding but without any prerequisite quality control on programming required.

Article 2: And where does the local government receive these funds from? The only way they can procure funding is by increasing taxation on the local population which will force the people ever closer into the bosom of local government, and what's the crucial word in that sentence? Everyone say it with us..."government".
As ever the HF-UP (who can't even follow a 400+ year law properly and change their colours so as not to confuse themselves with the HFP, we wonder if there was any vote rigging?) says that it wants to increase the freedom of the people but actually just draw them further into government control.

Article 3: Removing the identity cards is more than just foolish, it will be extremely expensive. Is the HF-UP aware of what exactly is on this nations ID cards? If not, we will tell them:-
1) Name,
2) Date of Birth,
3) Picture,
4) National Insurance Number,
5) Anti-forgery security hologram,
6) National Library Card access strip,
7) Drivers licence,
8) Passport,
9) Organ donation information.

As you can see, the current ID cards contain important data, but nothing that infringes dangerously on a persons privacy. Moreover, that single card would need to be replaced with no less than 5 different cards in order to provide adequate access to national and international services making the risk of loss of data even more likely. We would also like to know, who would the HF-UP expect to provide and secure all this information? Have they decided on adequate funding?
We also ask the HF-UP what they would do to guarantee that minors cannot access illegal illicit materials that are not to be available to them (drugs, alcohol, driving licences, etc.) as currently ID cards must be shown for all such purchases. What are their plans for providing shop keepers with security against allegations of selling to minors?
As usual, the HF-UP screams about "increasing freedom" without knowing the background of any of those "freedoms" and not considering their wider consequences on the people of this nation.

MessageWe agree with the WSSP, identity cards are vital for the country as they are 5 cards in 1, saving money and increase security for the public.

MessageWe stand by our views of true federalism, thus the issue of increased taxes for more local power will be irrelevant.

The issue of radio is clear. In a time of tyranny, the people will be deceived by the state. It is up to the people to decide what they wish to hear, as they will control the radio. This is true also of identity cards, which shall also be used by the tyrannical government to deceive the people into a false sense of "security" and thus cause evils like CCTV cameras across the entire nation and secret police organizations that go around killing kittens and slowly carving the crucifix of Jesus into the hands, faces, chests, and teeth of the people.

- As only one of the articles is anything to do with federalism we believe it more likely that our right honourable colleagues in the HFP are voting for a number of different reasons. a) they are voting against the other parts of the bill, b) they believe that putting the best interests of the Country over political manipulation is the preferred option, or even c) they are voting against the hate filled anger of the HF-UP.

Random fact: In Culturally Protected nations, it is the responsibility of players to ensure the candidate boxes on their Party Overview screens are filled in with appropriate names. If a player is allotted seats in a Cabinet bill and has not filled in names for the relevant candidate position, then the program will automatically fill in the positions with names which might not necessarily be appropriate for the Cultural Protocols.
