Voting deadline: May 2492

Description[?]:

Article II. This article is meant to protect our religious communities from being taxed out of existence. This will make it easier for them to provide social services that work sensibly when coming from themselves.

Article I. We must have an open and inviting environment, so as to promote equality between the religions, so that we may have a renaissance of understanding between them all.

Article V. If local communities choose to support their local parishes and temples, it should be allowed.

Article III. During major religious holidays, it is fitting to show proper respect through one's attire.

Article IV. By minimizing restrictions we give parents more choice in terms of what educational environment is right for their children.

MessageThese aren't rights, they simply are bills to overthrow the secular government.

OOC: SSD, you should really change your name, it doesn't fit your party lines.

MessageOOC: SSD has always been in favor of scientific advancement. You won't see it voting against stem cell research funding, for example. The "in Design" part of the name, though, refers to the Design of the world by an omnipotent deity. Essentially, the party advocates religious legislation alongside pro-scientific bills, so as to argue that the two are not mutually exclusive. SSD did used to be relatively more secular, back in the days when the Jawa was ruled entirely by the religious Protectorate Party, back when it was the sole opposition party.

Random fact: Characters are considered to be "owned" by the player who first mentioned or created them. In practice, players may share responsibility for role-playing a character, but ultimate authority rests with the owner.

Random quote: "It is obvious that the laissez-faire ideology represents the interests of big business. For decades, the right-wing has opposed welfare programs and nationalised companies, in favour of big business disguised under 'economic liberty'." - Cecilia Xu, former Gaduri politician
