MessageThe DPP requests evidence to back up the OGP's assertion that GM foods alter genes or reduce sperm "quality." Additionally, the DPP is curious what exactly sperm "quality" is supposed to mean. Is the OGP referring to a reduction in motility, or what?

MessageOkay okay, everybody uses a little scare-tactics every once in awhile to get a message across. However, there is no research substantiating that GM crops are not harmful in long term perspectives, this goes for the environment and the people and animals who eat them.

Sperm quality is comprised of several factors where motility indeed is one. Other factors are volume, sperm count, and how many are dead or alive. Next time you ejaculate I suggest you start measuring and counting. 1 ejaculate doze should be around 2-5 ml. with 20 million semen pr. ml. Enjoy!!!

MessageFortunately, I do not produce semen. But, I do agree with this bill. It's better than nothing.

MessageIf it does affect sperm qaulity, that could be a good thing. It might make our men ultra-fertile and increase the population.

And if it decreases the quality, who is going to miss a few sperm? Unless it is a serious risk to fertility then there is no need for a ban.

Random fact: The people in your nation don't like inactive parties. When you often abstain from voting for a bill, they will dislike your party and your visibility to the electorate will decrease significantly. Low visibility will means you are likely to lose seats. So keep in mind: voting Yes or No is always better than Abstaining.
