| Message | I'm not sure how you can justify decreasing the Internal Affairs, Environment and Justice Department's funding by a power of ten (but the reduction in defence spending is good). Also, perhaps some of the money we save should go to Health or Education. |

| Message | I wanted to pass this budget before a future redistributive one. My rationale for making cuts to Justice and Internal affairs is that there is a certain cross-over of functions. Defence budget was over-inflated for a country that hasn't been to war in recent history and has no obvious enemies. Perhaps the cuts in environment are a mistake but I can fix that in the next budget. |
