Message | Again, we understand the good intentions of the PFP, however we do not believe it to be proper for the central government to be mandating this. |

Message | Mandating this? This is a proposal to rid us of many diesease that infect people? Not mandating this? This is a neccesity, not anyting extra that the government provides, it's not a handout at all. And that is terrible to refer to this as a handout. |

Message | Your party votes no on these because of they don't want to spend money on these things. But this is completely and 100% neccesary to the health of our people. |

Message | As you mentioned, no money will be spent on this. Therefore, money is not the reason we are not supporting this. We never mentioned the word "handout". We prefer this type of mandate come from a personal physician (or even local governments), just not the central government. We understand your good intentions with this bill, we just have a different philosophy on what the role of the central government should be. |

Message | What's the difference? Between the local and central government mandating this? The fact is that everywhere children are sick and should be immunized? What is the difference between those two? We are a federalist party, but when it comes to major issues like children being immunized, and diesease spreading slowed down, then we step in and say that's right for the whole nation, not just in one region, we believe in federalism for the reason of an area deciding, but the fact is no one wants diesease and no one wants sickness. You are not losing any federalist appeal by voting yes. |

Message | You changed your mind on the area of local museums and libraries, now you say that they all deserve adequete funding? But what is the difference between this and that everyone deserves this and that? Children deserve to be disease free. Just like how you say that libraries and museums deserve to be adequetely funded. Please reconsider your vote and think wisely about this. |

Message | The bill you bring up concerns funding and operation of educational and historic institutions. After reconsidering the bill, we felt that not supporting it would cause some of those facilities to close. The issues did not really have anything to do with local control and decision-making (which we are passionate about), but rather the financial stability of those very important institutions. That is why we changed our mind. This bill concerns a "mandate" and are very weary of the central government "mandating" too many things. Not everything, just too many things. We can see you are very passionate about this issue. We do not plan to change our minds on this bill. If the government did mandate something like this, how would it be enforced? Would families and children be punished for not complying? |

Message | Technecalities of every law could be talked about and I could question every method of what your laws do and no I don't think you would like to answer everyone of them. But anyways if they do not comply with immunizations then they would be barred from attending any public school, as well as most other (with self-regulation) schools, so they would be home schooled. And you talk of mandating? What is the difference between the health of the nation. Immunizations and universal health care? What is the difference you have here? They all further the health of the nation. This one is for the excuse of not wanting the government to mandate. What is your reason? The government I don't believe will become dictorial because of this bill. |

Message | We certainly do not believe your are being dictatorial about this - it is clear you have the best of intentions. We just have an honest disagreement. As to the question about universal health care v. mandating vaccinations - we believe that every Jelbanian should have health care, but we would not support mandating specific number of doctor's visits per year, examinations or vaccinations. That is between a patient and their doctor. We believe that the central government should ensure that everyone has access to health care, however we do not want the central government making specific medical decisions. |
