| Message | We believe that they should be exempted ONLY IF they do not have a job that allows them to earn a moderate income. If we let all of the poor people be free from tax, there may be a possibility that there will be an increase in the number of poor people in Aloria in their desire to be exempted from tax. Tax is the lifeblood of the nation. We should allow everyone to fulfill their duties as citizens by paying taxes. |

| Message | Actually, under current national tax policy, the poor are already more or less exempt from taxes. There are no taxes on income below, if memory serves 5000 Aloriks/year, and Aloria imposes no taxes on essential goods like food and clothing. Local governments are free to tax as they see fit, of course. We'll vote for this as a resolution to discourage local governments from taxing the poor. |
