Bill: Bill USMC-1802 Religious Advertising
Details
Submitted by[?]: Revolutionary State Socialist Party
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: January 2495
Description[?]:
We know we proposed this some time ago (OOC: with a wrong name according to my own naming system x.x check my party page if you want to see how I come up with these numbers), but we think some of you may not have gotten the full picture of this legistlation. We have nothing against religion, however we do not think it deserves special treatment, and should have the same restrictions as any other organization when advertising. For those of you that vote against any new laws in hopes to limit the government size, this actualy makes our law code smaller instead of larger, as it elimiminates an exception in our current advertising laws. |

Message | DSP: It is the job of parents to monitor their children's habits, not the government. USMC: by granting "approval" to religious groups advertising, you are by default meddling, especially if you allow some and disallow others. |
