Details

Submitted by[?]: Saiserist League

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: June 2495

Description[?]:

"It is in the library that our nations people reveice the education and enlightenment necessary for an intelligent, politically-active and politically-aware populace. Such a system belongs with the government, who know best what policies are best and can best determine where and how libraries should be established. This bill will improve the overall conditions of our libraries, and ultimately be beneficial for all strata of Zardugali society. I urge you all to support it, and make the choice that is right. Thank you for your time."

-Daniel V. Feterokov, in the proposition speech to the National Directory

Message"Once again, the extremists fail to explain why a bureaucrat in Belgae has a better idea of how Red Creek's library system should be established and maintained.

Of course libraries should be available to every Zardugali, that's why we give local governments, who know the best places for them, the money to build them."

Random quote: Although I understand and respect the intentions behind the gesture, this is not something that is universally understood or appreciated, and it tends to give out a negative impression of our party. ~ Anton Weinreich, General Secretary of the Dorvish Communist Party, pleading with his members to stop burning the national flag
