MessageThis contradicts any oath of loyalty which would have had to be taken by the military of Rildanor during the Free Republic and the Union of South Seleya. Don't act like the military never had an oath of service because you know plainly well that the military of *any* nation does.

MessageAny prior military oaths would not have been legally binding since they were not mandated by this legislature. In any event, these oaths of allegiance would override any prior oaths of allegiance. Of course, if the republican members of the Armed Forces feel the need, they can get a dishonourable discharge from the Armed Forces so that they needn't take the oath.

MessageAnd what will you do when republican senators refue to take the oath... there is no way you can bar a member from taking their seat, voting, participating in debates or committees.

Secondly, our military cannot afford to have a situation where only members of one political ideology are allowed in the service, it is not pratical, besides what if there is a war and a draft is needed... you are just giving people an easy way to get out of it... same with your damn anti-homosexual bill.

Random fact: Don't vote yes on a cabinet coalition that doesn't give you the power that you deserve.
