Whilst the journey he took was difficult and fraught with turmoil he did persevere past all obstacles. Past the Anantonese Ocean where dragons do rule and Ananto pirates do roam, seeking nouveau-enlightenment in their drug filled hazes he did progress onwards with an outstreched arm and a purified soul. Onto Andalay where strife was common place, crime prominent and debauchery entrenched he did place his left foot upon the land but upon realising the true nature of the place he did refuse to place his right foot and did return the his ship to meditate and seek redemption from coming into contact with such impurity. Thus it is law for all true followers of the Grand Duke to enter any new nation or land with their left foot to judge it and then their right foot to validate it. Bryce Leigh I did then follow the coast of northen Seleya and did brave the stromy seas that are found on the Likaton peninsula eventually placing both feet upon the island of Migadon. Yet although the Grand Duke did both judge and validate this land, the inhabitants, engulfed as they were in drugs and sin did reject him and expel him from the island. His friends were stabbed, his colleagues captured and his wife raped but the Duke did not give up, no he did continue in the search for the promised land. Ergo it is declared that Bryce Leigh I did not only posses the ability to judge and to validate but he also possessed the purity and knowledge that provokes such determination: "Verily he did establish Pewtri-Yo." And so it came to pass that in the year of the conventional calendar marked 2103, Bryce Leigh I did both judge and validate the island of Maddog and settle upon it with his companions to form the nation of Keymon. He that founded our land was quick to banish the pagan Majatran settlers and establish purity of the land, yet this was soon to be corrupted by Bryce Leigh III (the first Grand Duke to convert to the Church of Keymon) as he reformed the land to promote decadence in the form of state sponsored gambling. Yet upon his arrival on the island Bryce Leigh I did form and chair the First Maddog Congregation directed to carry out the law of the Grand Duke and to implement his reforms. Yet multi-party democracy did taint this and the Congregation did collapse and was replaced by the immoral Legislative Assembly, the power seat of anti-Buddhist sentiment. But as the towers of oppression crumbled into the themselves during the anarchy that followed the disintegration of the National Front led government a band of true Zen loyalists created the clandestine Second Maddog Congregation with the aim of restoring the rightful assembly to its rightful place. Yet the impure ones of Keymon forced it down and beat it into nothing thereby allowing the Legislative Assembly to reign supreme. Thus recognising the cultural history of Keymon stems and shall always stem from Bryce Leigh I we propose a return to our true roots, ergo we support and propose to the parties of Keymon the creation of the Third Maddog Congregation to be responsible for governing the nation fairly and carrying out the work of the Grand Duchess. Ergo with the passing of this bill: 1. The Third Maddog Congregation shall be judged. 2. The Third Maddog Congregation shall be validated. 3. The Third Maddog Congregation shall be established. “But Pewtri-Yo is nothing compared to Maddog.” |
