| Our nation deserves the best health care system on Terra. We can achieve this through a national health care system of physicians who are rewarded for improving the health of their patients. Physicians currently prescribe the drug or procedure which offers the best financial incentive whether or not the patient truly needs it. Nationalized health care is fair, affordable, and let’s doctors do what they do best by freeing them from the financial side of medicine. Health is not a commodity to be bought and sold, but a right of the people. |

Current: Health care is private, but the government subsidises the cost of it for all citizens.
Proposed: There is a free public health care system and a small number of private clinics, which are heavily regulated to ensure they treat their patients well and provide good care.
