Bill: Open Arms
Details
Submitted by[?]: Kaitite Movement
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: January 2497
Description[?]:
We see no reason why an individual not involved in law enforcement would need to conceal a weapon. If they choose to carry a firearm for self defense, then it should be visible. This way, the gun might actually prevent a crime by showing the person is prepared, and police would instantly know if the person was carrying (legal) arms. |
Proposals
Article 1
Proposal[?] to change Weapon concealment.
Old value:: Any legal weapon may be concealed when carried.
Current: Local governments may set and enforce concealed carry laws.
Proposed: Where weapons are carried, this must be done openly.
