Voting deadline: March 2497

Description[?]:

"We are not slaves and we are not serfs yet there are those who would like to us returned to these states and to crush the voice of the people to be replaced by tyranny. We call for the iron fist of the state to finally be put to sleep.

In regards to article one we propose what will no doubt be an unpopular policy with much of the legislature in the introduction of positive discrimination. Keymon has come a long way since the destructive and racist policies of the National Front, the Likaton Fascsit Front and the Christian Nationalists but only the blind would argue that we are a society of equality. There is still vast discrimination against anyone who is not a male Dolgar and it is time to bring and end to this. We propose this a short term policy of five to ten years in order to encourage the employment of minority groups and at the end of this time scale it is our firm belief that such minorities will have proven their worth and will have secure jobs, to be followed by other minorities until all citizens of Keymon are treated as free and equal human beings.

In regards to article two we have proposed in the past, and stand by it, the conversion of Keymonese industry into one operated by DWC's and not wealthy employers in order to ensure all workers are treated to a fair wage and safety and equality in the work place. Yet we accept that this is an unpopular policy at the moment and so instead propose the simple legalisation of DWC's. With the passage of this bill they shall not be mandated but they shall not be banned either. We believe that in time those companies that become operated by DWC's will outperform those under private control and lead the adoption of DWC's by all.

In regards to article three gated communities serve no purpose but to divide and to discourage integration and toleration of others. There are those that would argue that it is not our right to regulate the market in this way by placing restrictions on private businesses or individuals but we firmly reject the notion that the private sector has some sort of right to racism and intolerance that the public sphere does not. There are some issues that should be left out of state control but for issues such as this it is our right, no our duty to enforce acceptable practicies on all."

Message"Positive discrimination is still discrimination, and what you are suggesting is mandatory, government-controlled discrimination on a grand scale. We are firmly opposed to this policy change, but we would support the concept of DWCs if this were in a separate bill."

Message"We reject the view that discrimination is inherently evil, for example it is necessary to discriminate against murderers, against rapists, against terrorists and so on. In this case we believe that operating minority discrimination whereby the majority group loses a small element of its control whilst not being completely marginalised in the hope of ensuring future generations of minorities are not discriminated against is at heart a good thing. To be blunt we must promote a 'bad' for a long term good."

Random fact: In cases where a party has no seat, the default presumption should be that the party is able to contribute to debates in the legislature due to one of its members winning a seat at a by-election. However, players may collectively improvise arrangements of their own to provide a satisfying explanation for how parties with no seats in the legislature can speak and vote there.

Random quote: "No man has ever been born a Negro hater, a Jew hater, or any other kind of hater. Nature refuses to be involved in such suicidal practices." - Harry Bridges
