Message | lol. Well if it makes you feel better, I'd vote no anyway ;) . Forcing people to vote is a contradiction of what democracy should be about. I agree that people SHOULD vote, but forcing them to is wrong. |

Message | OOC: You MUST be free! It's ILLEGAL to not be! Lemme tell you what happens in Australia, one of the, what, two? countries that adopts this policy. When the ballots are realesed, the candidates are on a list. The list is drawn randomly, but everyone hopes to get #1. For the "donkey vote". This is how the average voter votes. They wait in line for 20 or so minutes, go into the booth, look at the ballot, the first one looks good, circles the candidate, then leaves. It's ruined the Australian democracy. |
