Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: January 2497
Description[?]:
"We of the Revolutionary Socialist Party believe it is morally reprehensible that now we only supply aid to the poorest of nations in order to force them into allowing us to dominate their trade. If we increase our aid and eliminate all the strings, the benefits will be multifluous. It will affirm that we are all citizens of the world and establish us as a morally enlightened nation, on the more abstract hand. On the more pragmatic hand this will increase our international image and thus our prestige, and will also secure more trading rights for our nation than 'tied aid' ever could. Love is a better motivation than fear. Niccolo Machiavelli was wrong. Make the right decision, thank you for your time." -Daniel V. Feterokov, in the proposition speech to the National Directory |

Message | We cannot possibly afford to give aid to every single country in the world who needs it, so I think it's fair that we give aid to the countries who can help us too as a priority. |
Date | 17:53:49, December 05, 2007 CET | From | Konservativa Respublikano Parti | To | Debating the Second Foreign Aid Act |
Message | It's not morally right for us to stand by and let people suffer and die while we have the ability to save them. |
Date | 19:26:06, December 05, 2007 CET | From | Irish Party | To | Debating the Second Foreign Aid Act |
Message | So are we supposed to save everyone? The point is, we do NOT have the ability to save everyone. So it's easier to choose to save people that'll give us their own benefits. Do you have any better way of choosing who we save and who we let die? |
Date | 19:34:31, December 05, 2007 CET | From | Saiserist League | To | Debating the Second Foreign Aid Act |
Message | We'll get more benefits and more trading rights by this method. Instead of bullying minor nations into signing trading pacts, that will breed international resentment, suspicion, and leave the minor nation trying to wriggle out in any way they can, this promises all the benefits of respect and appreciation, which carries far more economic stimulus and trading rights than the tyrannical imperialistic 'tied-aid' ever could. It is both moral and profitable. |

Message | "If Zardugalies want to give their money to those who've demonstrated they can't sustain it, they're welcome to do so through private charity." ~Michale Tucker, Minister of Finance |
