Description[?]:

Honourable Colleagues,

The PMC worked for years to reestablish the monarchy in Rildanor and we are proud to say that we helped do so with a mandate from the people. We also, with mandate from the people, worked to restore the Church to a place of dignity and to restore traditional values to the Kingdom. We are very pleased with much of the work we have been able to accomplish and thank our colleagues in the PA, FNP, and PPN for helping us with these important tasks.

In recent years, however, we have become increasingly concerned with the shift of our allies towards a more totalitarian and authoritarian form of government. We were especially dissatisfied with the abridgment of religious freedoms in this country, and the over-involvement of the state in Church affairs. We fully support laws recognizing Catholicism as the official religion. However, as good Catholics we protest the state practice of lay-investiture, and other interference of the state in internal Church affairs, especially concerning the appointment of bishops and other clergy.

Also, as good Catholics, we recognize that the Church requires us to grant freedom of worship to other religions. They do not necessarily have the right to spread their error among Catholics, but they do have a right to practice their religion among themselves. We thus strongly protest that membership in the Church has been made mandatory. The Church itself will not recognize the validity of any sacraments performed without freedom.

In the last election, the people handed our party a resounding defeat. We fear that the people were not able to see what the PMC truly stands for. Thus we put forward part of our party platform to remind the people of the Kingdom of Rildanor where we stand.
