The free press often offends. We must not restrict that right. Furthermore, truth be told, sensational journalism sells more papers. We will not be shy about that fact. However, a burgeoning media sector will reduce the likelihood of corporate interference to trim costs and cut back on journalism. |

Message | It is tragic when so-called "hate speech" incites others to violence. However, is it the publisher of such sensationalism, or the weak-willed individuals that are to blame? If someone is driven to a murderous rage by hearing some sort of racial or cultural epithet in the newspaper, then that person is clearly already quite unstable. |
