Message | Interesting that the AM RLP equates liberty, equality and brotherhood with commercial fishing. |

Message | (1) BANKRUMPT businesses should get loans to help them get back on their feet. Otherwise, it would lead to the growth of MONOPOLIES!!! (3) The CWFP is a strong supporter of loans and tax credits to worker-owned businesses!!! |
Date | 07:05:59, December 07, 2007 CET | From | Commonwealth Workers Army | To | Debating the Liberté, égalité, fraternité, ou la mort! - Return to Sane Economics |
Message | Pensions - irrelevent. Banking - irrelevent. Uncontrolled fishing... insane, but irrelevent. DWCs - irrelevent. Trade Unions - irrelevent. The market - irrelevent, although we like that the RLP is joining our anti-technology war. We haven't yet decided whether protecting the environment will trump destroying industry with our allies in the RLP. |

Message | PDA - We want the brotherhood of fishermen to have the liberty to compete with equalitly with other food producers CWFP - Bankrupt industrires became that way due to ineffecient processes or operation. To support them is pouring good money after bad. If the industry has a valid plan to get out of bankruptcy, the private sector will offer financing. Offering loans/tax credits to worker owned business is discriminatory to those owned by other combinations of persons; and the AM RLP is opposed to discriminatory legislation. |

Message | The RLP claims to be against discriminatory legislation, but we have seen them vote FOR banning abortion. The RLP are against discriminatory legislation when it suits them. |

Message | RLP, giving tax credits to worker owned business is NOT "discriminatory" the economic status of workers is NOT equal to the economic status of wealthy investors. Case in point: in Likatonia, 100 Pennies make 1 Likath Dollar Bill, right? Well, a worker would represent a miniscule PENNY, and, since the avg. C.E.O. makes ~500x the salary of the workers, the Wealthy Employer would represent a crisp clean 5 Likath Dollar bill??? Now, where is the EQUALITY in a "penny" and a "5 Likath Dollar Bill"??? Therefore, in order to make the economy a LEVEL-playing field, it is the perogative of the representatives in a democratic govenment is to ensure that smaller 500 pennies have the capacity to ORGANIZE into a rival 5 Likath bill. |

Message | KAP - We are in favor of allowing the workers to organize and run their business. We do not see why a group of investore who happen to work for a company and wish to buy it should be given preference over a group of outside investors who wish to make the same choice. A level playing field would give any group of potential investors an equal opportuniy to invest. |

Message | NEIN! This undermines everything that every likatonian dreams of! This piece of Capitalizt (Purposely spelled with z) propaganda CAN NOT PASS! |

Random fact: Particracy allows you to establish an unelected head of state like a monarch or a president-for-life, but doing this is a bit of a process. First elect a candidate with the name "." to the Head of State position. Then change your law on the "Structure of the executive branch" to "The head of state is hereditary and symbolic; the head of government chairs the cabinet" and change the "formal title of the head of state" to how you want the new head of state's title and name to appear (eg. King Percy XVI). |
