MessageWhat is this 'freedom' of which the RLP speaks?

We, the TDP are the only party that has any real vision of freedom - no government, no industry, no money, no fences, no houses, no medicines, no science, no state...

The rest of you peddle platitudes. You promise 'freedom' but it changes from bill to bill what you mean. SOmetimes 'freedom' is where you can be, sometimes what you can do. Sometimes you use freedom to mean 'let's make this crime illegal', and yet you illegalise the legal things under the same auspices.

We do not buy your concepts of freedom. You can't define them, and we'll not sell our futures for nothing more than a cloud. Take your milktoast freedoms, and admit that what you mean by them is - I want to do what I want to do.

MessageTDP - of course we admit it. The true freedom lies in being able to do what I want to do.

MessageThe FRP subscribes in a belief in negative liberty, that is, the freedom from coercion from external sources in defense of one's natural rights.

We believe that government is established to protect its citizens from coercion by predatory or irresponsible forces which violate their rights. The purpose of government is to defend these rights, not to plan their people's future by restricting choices which do no harm to others' rights or persons.

MessageOh, merciful ZEUS! Not another attack of the 'natural rights'... we've never yet seen one good argument in favour of such a thing.

MessageNatural rights is better than inalienable rights. We can see how 'unnatural rights' can exist, and how some rights are not unnatural.

That notwithstanding, we will support.
