Bill: Preliminary Oil Drilling Research
Details
Submitted by[?]: People's Progressive Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: October 2498
Description[?]:
http://img229.imageshack.us/img229/8104/oilproposalhb0.png I propose that we do preliminary oil drilling research in the shaded areas. This could potentially boost our economy. Funding will come out of the Science and Technology budget. We are open to debate as to whether or not we need to allocate additional funds for this project or if the project funding may take from the already-allotted budget. The final parameters will be listed before the bill passes into the voting phase. The current parameters are: a) The Free Republic of Dorvik will begin preliminary oil drilling research in the shaded areas as specified on the following map: http://img229.imageshack.us/img229/8104/oilproposalhb0.png b) The project may freely use up to 1,000,000 DDO from the Science and Technology budget. |

Message | This really amounts to little more than an ordinary investment, only it's being done by the State. Quite a minimal level of intervention, especially when considering the recent changes made by the GDP. |

Random fact: Particracy does not allow real-life brand names (eg. Coca Cola, McDonalds, Microsoft). However, in the case of military equipment brand names it is permitted to use simple number-letter combinations (eg. T-90 and F-22) borrowed from real life, and also simple generic names, like those of animals (eg. Leopard and Jaguar). |
