Bill: [OOC] Name Change Technicality, January 2498

Details

Submitted by[?]: Computational Intellect Project

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: September 2498

Description[?]:

[OOC]

Apparently, when I submitted the name change to the moderator, I was told that we cannot simply change the name to the short name, being Barmenistan, as this is simple moderator policy.

So, the official translated long name, as identified in the wiki, is "The Democratic Government of the Barmenians."

The previous name change bill is now invalid; pretend it doesn't exist.

[IC]

We propose to change the name of our nation to "The Democratic Government of the Barmenians," as Brmék’oék Nrzipntakmojad is difficult to use and no longer has any meaning; especially since it is ugly and a dead language.

We may propose a further name change into an active language, as this is a consociational state, but that is yet to be seen.

All those in favor of renaming our nation to "The Democratic Government of the Barmenians," vote yes.

Random fact: There are two countries based on Egypt in the game. Cobura is based on modern Egypt with a retro twist, while Hawu Mumenhes is based on Ancient Egypt with a modernist twist.

Random quote: "The answer to global warming is in the abolition of private property and production for human need. A socialist world would place an enormous priority on alternative energy sources. This is what ecologically-minded socialists have been exploring for quite some time now." - Louis Proyect
