MessageWe say no. It's been proven in international studies that mandatory identity cards have virtually no effect on crime rates. Requiring people to carry cards and fining them if they don't may bring in some quick cash, but that's not the point of this policy. It certainly isn't enough reason to follow through with this proposal.
