Bill: High Court Administrative Amendment

Details

Submitted by[?]: Wessex High Imperial Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: February 2500

Description[?]:

"Since there is so many High Court nominees and vacancies, I am proposing to extend the time of each magistrate's service from 24 years (game time) to 40 years (game time). I am also proposing that the term limit be reduced, therefore, from three to two. If this measure passes, I will alter the current magistrate's service dates accordingly. By extending this service time, I will interrupt our Parliament less often with calls for nominees and announcements of vacancies, and this will also give our High Court time to properly elect a Head Magistrate and actually begin to function as intended. Please vote yes on this measure."

Sincerely,
Portia di Venicci, Chancellor of Justice

Random fact: It is possible for a player to transfer ownership of a character or a royal house to another player. This should be done in a public way, such as on the Character Transfers thread, so that if a dispute arises in the future, Moderation can be pointed towards evidence of the transfer.
