MessageThe Anarch Anakrousite Party representative offers prior advisement to the CCU, that it considers all of the proposals (bar the nudity control) unethical and completely against the spirit AND letter of Democracy.

In one fell swoop, the AAP representative feels, the CCU is attempting to remove freedom of expression, limit civil liberties, and express an illegal preference for one gender orientation.

The AAP representative would also like to suggest to other truly democratic, left-leaning and/or freedom-orientated party members, that they lean heavily upon the CCU to moderate or remove at least 3 of the 4 proposals on this bill: to whit: Proposal to change Government policy toward marriage, Proposal to change The distribution, purchasing and possession of material depicting pornographic acts, and Proposal to change Legality of Sodomy.

We banned political incorrectness against homosexuality?

MessageResponse to CCU: The AAP representative believes that it is against the spirit of our current, democratic, nature - to refuse rights or benefits, on the basis of gender orientation.

We are under the impression that our current civil law, forbids gender discrimination in the allocation of jobs, for example.

MessageThe RLP cannot under any circumstances do anything but oppose such a measure, taking away personal responsibility for actions taken by consenting adults and placing this responsibility on the government.

If one is prevented from doing wrong, then there is no virtue in doing good.

MessageThe AAP represenatative is sad to convey that the AAP cannot endorse this policy.

We feel it is undemocratic, immoral, and against the anti-discrimination codes, to allow a law that specifically targets laws upon gender orientation.

With respect to our more 'conservative' asssociates, we must, regretfully, oppose this bill.

MessageWe also oppose. Not so respectfully I am afraid. As we have no official state religion there is no legitimate grounds whatsoever for discriminating against homosexuality. Why deny people who happen to be born different the rights to happiness and legal security that heterosexual couples have? I can think of no reason whatsoever.

MessageThe AAP has been compelled by their electors, to vote against this Bill, as it stands - for reason of perceived discrimination. We regret this course, as we were not averse to voting for the public nudity clause, but our constituents have spoken.

MessageThe Anarch Anakrousite Party representatives are concerned that this bill seems about to pass by default, rather than by intent. If there is no participation from the FCL, the RLP, The PP and the CPL soon, we would question the 'mandate' which can be gained from this vote.
