Message | Low tax is better than no tax. |
Date | 21:27:55, December 13, 2007 CET | From | Revolutionary Freedom Party -- KEG SLAM | To | Debating the Sales Tax |
Message | Sales taxes are inherently regressive. .. they hurt the poor more than the rich. We oppose all sales taxes, and believe only in income and corporate taxes. Plus, Kalistan has a spending-based economy, which will be helped by a lack of sales taxes, as will the tourism industry. |

Random fact: Any RP law granting extraordinary "emergency powers" or dictator-like powers to a government must be passed by at least a 2/3rds majority, but (like all RP laws) may always be overturned by a simple majority vote of the legislature. |
